Pumpkin patch🍂🎃

Today was a super fun day! The whole family slept in very late...like 11:30 haha! Gotta take advantage cause those days are few! We took off for an afternoon of fun at the Rhodes family pumpkin patch! A maze, a big inflatable bounce mat, a giant slide, hay bails, a big corn bin, baby pigs, and feeding the goats! Maddox had so much fun with all the activities and running around the farm! A few things he was a little to small for but there is always next year! He loved the giant slide that we went down about ten times! The maze was a bit challenging but we finally found our way out! He loved bouncing on the mat, it was so cute! He giggled the whole time! Sissy had fun watching from the stroller with daddy! Lots of good pics to go along with the super fun family Monday!

Finally!

So it has been way too long since I've posted.....so here it goes, again. I have a lot of catching up to do but I'm just going to start with the most recent. This past weekend was my parents annual Halloween cookoff and trick or treat! We had a ton of fun but missed daddy. Maddox, Eliana, and I got out to Rend Lake around 3:30 and the fun began immediately! Maddox was so excited to see his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and his cousins! We started the tasting at 530 only 8 entries this year but no one disappointed! My dad won with his sticky hot wings and they sure did have my vote! Both of my aunts tied with a fabulous Mexican stew and a yummy fried Oreo....need I say more? Ha. So happy to see my lil cousin Adam and little bro josh join in on the fun for a couple hours! Just don't see enough of them two boys😢 after the big announcement of the winner we got the kids dressed and went trick or treating at each campsite for lots of goodies. It's so fun to see all of our kids dressed up and playing together! Seems like not that long ago it was us as the "kids" oh how time flies!!!! The men got the huge bonfire going and we put the kids in comfy warm clothes and let them play! The Flure's made their famous popcorn so so good! It was so fun to hang with the family and catch up with some old friends! I love Halloween weekend out at the campground! And of course I can always count on my mom making her pancakes eggs and bacon the next morning....just not the same when you make it yourself! #lovemylife
