My babies

Tonight I'm realizing just how quickly my little ones are growing. It just happens so fast, just one day they are not little bitty babies anymore. It's not like they are teens or even in school for that matter but they are kind of official toddlers. It has gone by so fast. I try really hard to live in the moment and soak up each minute with them but it's inevitable, time just flys!!! 

The kids were away from us for one night this weekend, not even 24 hours but I swear they are bigger and smarter! Eliana's sweet grin is now just the biggest most beautiful smile. She just moves around so so fast. The songs my son sings are so cute. He can carry a tune that's for sure! To hear him sing every lyric and have the right tone and pitch through the song, it's just crazy!

To watch him really play with his cars and dump trucks, he actually hauls items from room to room in them. Such a playful little boy. His imagination is going wild right now. It's so fun to watch. The innocence and purity of a child is beautiful. My baby girl loves to point to every object in her baby Einstein book, she gets so excited to be read to and asked questions. She loves to have her shoes put on, she runs to her room to get them and sits down right in front of me, ready to go. Maddox just started "reading" books. He actually remembers what the books say and in the veggie tales Christmas book he gets every page right. Of course he changes some of the words, cookie to cake, dark outside to nighttime, he just blows my mind. I am so so crazy about these two babies and can not believe how fast time is going by. I am beyond thankful that God has given me the job of being their mother. I am so thankful for the blessings I have in my life. Everyday here on earth is a gift and I am truly thankful. This is the best job ever. Here's to one more😉 

Best day of my life

Five years ago I married my best friend, the man of my dreams. I feel so blessed that God led me to Arjaye. He is the most special person in my life and I just love him to pieces. He makes me a better person. He is an amazing husband and the sweetest, most patient and loving dad. I love that I get to spend my happily ever after with him. I even love that he is "always" right! 

The kids stayed with granny and gpa Friday night so we could have our date night. We had so much fun! We went to Stl to the Loop. We had dinner at Ciceros.

Back for the Jakes Leg concert. Woooo!!! Been a while since we've had a chance to see them so how lucky are we that they were playing on our anniversary and we had a babysitter?!? Sweet. 

We had such a great time out together! And a late night it was!!!! Like we were crazy teenagers or something! We slept til 12:30 which was pretty fabulous! We had breakfast at IHOP then back home to relax! What a great start to this long weekend ahead of us'! Love this marriage of mine! So blessed. 

So thankful for the Lords blessings! Xo

Trick or Treat

Wednesday night was trick or treat night here at hiatt lane! I got off early and got home to get our costumes together! This is soooo exciting!

                   Here we go!!!

We loaded up the wagon with a couple blankets and our drinks. I put glow bracelets all around the wagon so you could see us coming, prolly didn't need them since our wagon was so loud down this rocky road!!!! It sprinkled for the first ten minutes but after that it was so perfect to be out! We walked around our neighborhood for about 45 minutes then off to visit our friends down the road!

And check out this awesome Halloween goodie bowl from the sweet Consiglio's!!!! Are you kidding me?!? Awesome!!! They are beyond sweet and just so darn thoughtful!!! All of our faves!!! We are so lucky to have them as our friends!!!! It was so fun hanging out at their house for a little while and watching the kids bounce around!!! This night was just perfect!!!!

We spent Halloween with a trip to the dentist for mama then lounging at home and dinner at daddy's work! We topped it off with a classic, The Great Pumpkin

I just love that they were totally in to this movie. Well, sis was kinda in and out but little Maddox was focused!!!

So thankful for an awesome Halloween filled with fun, candy, family, and great friends! God is good and we are beyond blessed!!! Looking forward to the rest of the fall season!!!! Xo
