Annual Halloween camping
This past weekend was our annual Halloween camping trip! This is my fave time to camp. Lots of family, friends, kids, and yummy food! We headed out Friday after Maddox's school Halloween party!

Friday was the coldest day of the weekend and it made me so happy that we did our trick or treating the night before, brrrr....
Maddox's skeleton
Rules:
1. Each participant must cook their entire meal in their camper or over their fire.
2. Spoons down at 3:00
3. Tasting until 5:00
4. You must taste every entry for your vote to count
5. Rank your top three.
So this was actually my first year participating in the cookoff! I made sweet potatoe chili. It was super yummy. I was super bummed cause I didn't win, but I did get lots of good comments and I know I got at least five 1st place votes! It was a lot of fun! All the entries were so yummy, so creative. It is just so much fun to taste all the yummy meals!
And our six year anniversary!!!
We all had a blast this weekend and look forward to another adventure next year!
We spen the morning and early afternoon making breakfast, kids playing, and mama packing. Headed back home for a nice relaxing evening!
