A little bit of a big deal...

So I was looking through Facebook and saw faller photography page come though my newsfeed with some cute kid pics. I had to wonder why are my kids not ever on there? Then I thought well maybe I am that mom who thinks my kids are cuter than they are??? No, they really are adorable....!!! Then there it was, my sweet princess made their newsfeed!!!! What a little fb celeb!!!! Haha!!!! Well I was a pretty proud mama!!!! Love her!

Not often enough

Last Saturday chrystal came over with the kids. We had sooo much fun! Maddox and Andrew are getting so big and it's so fun to watch them actually play together now! And of course miss Aspen is still the boss! Haha...just tellin everyone what to do! Love that sweet baby girl!
I gave Chrystal a color and cut job while our little rugrats played together. Then we went to eat....ha. Never been so outnumbered by kids before! It was so cute and so funny!!! Aspen played the harmonica and they all couldn't get enough ketchup for their dinner...I love some ketchup but oh shit that was gross!!!! Lol
These times are few and far between but I love every single second of it. I miss my family a lot and it never seems like enough time when we are together but I cherish each memory!!!

Busy day

Today Eliana had her 9 month photo session! OH.MY.GOSH. This was amazing!!! Nothing but smiles, giggles, waves and some head shakin. She was on her game today! I can't wait to go to our viewing session in a couple weeks!!!
My mom came over to see the kids and go with me for a little extra help!
Once Arjaye got home we went to the dollar store to find some fun Easter decorations and a few little things for the kids baskets!
Spaghetti for dinner, this is how eating dinner for me goes, bite for me, then for sis, then Maddox and repeat! Haha! Oh so fun!
After dinner Maddox helped me put up a few little decorations! As he was putting decals on the screen door he spotted the stray dog on the porch. He was sooo excited about it! So we checked his tags, but no owner info, and no one out looking:/ so we put out some food and water and a blanket with a pillow for the little guy....hopefully his owner comes to find him but I guess we will call animal control in the morning! Maddox has literally been standing at the door talking to the puppy for like 20 minutes and is insisting he gets a blanket!!!! He is such a good caring little boy!

Flea market

Today the Hiatt went to our fav flea market, The Old Homestead, out in meadowbrook. We found a few different goodies! I got five mason jars for less than a dollar a piece! Hubs got a cubs helmet, and Maddox got the cutest little old school mail box and an Elmo puppet!
We stopped at the one in btown too and found a round table and chairs for $89 so we snatched it up! It fits so much better in our kitchen. I'm super excited about it and can't wait to recover the chairs! I'm also going to make our existing table our new outdoor table!!! Woooo!!! Love the flea markets!

Birthday party!

Today was my Saturday off. Yay!!!! I cannot put into words how much I loooove my Saturday off! It was a really fun day!
We slept in til about 10:30 which was sooo relaxing! Then we made breakfast. Maddox's request: pancakes....so pancakes it is! Eliana loved pancakes and eggs too! She gobbled it all up!
Before we knew it it was time to get ready to go to Aiden's birthday party at Edison's. we had lots of fun! Maddox played all kinds of games and had pizza and a cupcake that he loved!!! We had a lot of fun at the party!
Now we are home just waiting for daddy to get off and join us for the night!

Finally...A Snow Day!

Finally, we got some major snow this winter! Maddox was watching it snow out the window today, it was so cute! He said"it no-ing outside, build a no man" haha! Arjaye had to work during the day so we made the most of it indoors until he got home! We made chocolate chip cookies...yummy!
Once daddy got home outside we went! Played in the back yard with the puppies, then to the front we went! Me and sissy just watched as Maddox and daddy shoveled the driveway!
We had a super fun snow day at home together!!!

Crafting once a month!!!

Ok, a little behind with this post but here we go. January we made a birthday present for my mom. Lets just say it was a rough start and thank The Lord my mom was the first "craft" recipient because she looooved it. It was decent to put it delicately!!! Bahahaha!!!! We made a flip book of why we love grandma.
Next was valentines day, we made daddy cute pics with the kids foot prints I. It! This was a lot of fun to do with my little angels! Thanks Pinterest!
The most recent craft was for my mil, we made her key chains and painted flower pots for her birthday!!!

New foods!

We have started meal planning down on Hiatt Lane! Just weekly, trying to set myself up for success!!! So far, so good! This was our fourth week and it has been very successful!!
This was one of my five things I wanted to start thus year and I am thrilled that I am sticking with it! In addition to the meal planning I am trying to cook a new recipe via Pinterest each week!

Next my husband made a yummy salad with the steaks he grilled on Wednesday night. Spinach, feta cheese, grapes, and toasted almonds with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing
