First haircut✂

December 26, 2012 my little baby Maddox got his first haircut! After he and sissy took a bath I asked him if he wanted a haircut? And he said yes!!! He did so good! I put the cape around him and he sat on the chair and let me trim his hair! It was so cute! Right before I was done he leaned into to me for a sweet little hug and kiss. Love that boy.

Thursday my mom and Meemaw came over with aspen and Andrew for a play date!!! The kids had a blast together!!!! We made a quick lunch trip to McDonald's!!! Love getting to spend the time with all of them!!!

Concert!!!

Last night was sooo fun!!! Arjaye, Adam, and myself went to our second Jake's Leg concert! We had a freaking blast!!! It was at the Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville. They are such an awesome band! So incredibly talented! Every one of them just gettin it and putting their heart and soul into the music! We ran into Kelly's mom Rita!!! Lucky us! She is so much fun and such a sweetheart!!! We were groovin to the music all night! It was funny because we started in our seats but it didn't take long for everyone to be up dancing to the music...even my husband, which is unheard of!!!!! I had one of the best times out I've ever had! Always such a joy when my little cousin can come over and we get to spend time together! And of course Aly was our babysitter, she is the best! My kiddos adore her! So thankful for that sweet girl!

Power is out!

Saturday night my older brother and his finance came over to get their hair done! Started out great, we got to visit and I got the color on Ashley's hair then......power went out?!? Omgsh! So....I shampooed her and cut her hair via flashlight! Haha and my bros hair too!!! Lol
So then we just took off to fairview heights to get dinner in the light and just a little shopping! Gotta love these wild Saturday nights we have here at Hiatt Lane!!!!

Christmas back "home"

Christmas Eve we spent with my parents. We went to church, then out to eat at Applebee's. Maddox and Eliana played while we waited for Josh, Jordan and Ashley to arrive! We started to open presents only to find out that Jordan and Ashley got engaged!!!!!!!! Ahhhh!!!! How exciting! I am so happy for them!
Maddox was just loving all of the presents he was getting to unwrap! Eliana did a good job too! She was pulling little bits of paper off of her presents! My parents are so good to us and shower us with amazing gifts....we are so grateful . We had so much fun together, I love being back home.
We went to Meemaw's house Christmas morning. The whole family was there! Crowded, loud, presents all over, lots of food, just the way I like it! We had to leave at 12:45 to head to my in laws's. Time with the whole family was so fun! All of the kids and dogs running around is so cute! Haha! We had a lot of fun at the Hiatt Christmas!
