Family Fun

Sunday we headed to church, my parents came by afterward to visit. We had a yummy lunch at Genos.
So I am still struggling a little with my post baby body but everyday is getting a little better! I've been working out at home with tone it up you tube videos or using something from Pinterest. Trying to eat better but still making some sucky choices. I'm not going to be too hard on myself and just stay focused by keeping my goals in mind. I'm lucky to have such an encouraging husband, he makes it all much easier and totally worth it!!! I am a size six right now and I am definitely ok with it. It takes patience and strength and with that I know I will get where I want to be.
This girl.
We are obsessed with wrestling here and Sunday night we watched it together! Maddox was cheering for Daniel Bryan!
I've been sucked into it also:/
And our new bedtime routine is going good!!!
Today we went bowling! So much fun! We've only taken the little ones one other time, they remembered and couldn't wait to do it again!
Those cute little bowling shoes!

She was soooo excited!

We had so much fun!!! Mommy won, sis second, bubs third, and daddy fourth!
Glad we got to spend a fun family day together. I go back to work in one week so I'm really trying to soak up these last few days! So thankful I've had this time at home!!!! Xo

Fun

I was able to get out of the house Tuesday and get my nails done. I was so desperate! It's been two entire months without and they were looking awful!
I got this new gel polish that's supposed to be good for your nails. I love the result, we will see how they do especially with me going back to work in a week!
They actually fell asleep like this!
More leggings....out to lunch with a friend.
Makeup- used the new dip brow by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
This cutie! Out to dinner at, Chinese Buffett :( it's ok though I haven't been here in months so I should be alright!
Eliana found her old binkie, this was sooooo funny! She just pointed and said mmmmm, and laughed.
Round two of shopping in fairview
But I had my hubs with me so of course all went well!
We came with a plan. Hit up a few stores before the mall, had lunch, I fed Roman in between times then went to the mall. Seriously everyone was perfect angels, even my hubby, not one complaint! And I got all the things I needed!!!
Rewarded with a train ride!
Maddox gave Roman all of his toys! Ha
Looking forward to a relaxing Sunday with my family and then my last week at home. So blessed I've been able to have all this time with them! Xo

Winter.

Brrrr......it is cold outside!!! So cold. This girl is not a fan! I'm up feeding my sweet boy so I thought id get caught up on the blog! I'm happy to report one week later and this little guy is feeling much better!!!! He still has a little cough but he has made quite the recovery from the rsv. So incredibly thankful!
We've had snow, had a fun shopping trip, made yummy food, started our new scheduled bedtime routine, working out, lots of good things going on with this little family! It was a tough week with all the sickness but with lots of love and patience, we've come out on top!
Wooooo hooooo, my ipsy bag! Always makes me smile!
Yummy, healthy chicken nachos.
These two!
My sweet sweet boy
Just showing off his ultimate warrior strength! I must say we are full on wrestling mode in this house! Maddox is loving the WWE wrestling with his daddy! It's quite entertaining!!!!
On Monday we got out first real snow of the winter! We are going to play in the snow! It was cooooold! Thankfully after twenty minutes we were all ready to come inside! I've decided the kids and I will be asking for snowsuits next year, on second thought I should start to look for some end of season sales on them!
Doing some sit ups with mama

Whoa, what a week!

Its been a long one that's for sure.
Last week Maddox and Eliana were not feeling very well so he stayed home from school to get extra rest. He went back Tuesday and Wednesday was his valentine party at school!
Working on valentines for his friends at school! He picked minion valentines at target and we tied little boxes of conversation hearts to the card.
My boys💙
This cry face before school.
So happy he went though. He had a great party and got lots of treats.

I took Roman to the dr Thursday because he was very fussy and not eating well the night before. This poor little baby has rsv :( so so pitiful. Not much we can do but wait it out. Steam showers and nose suctioning has been his medicine. Seems to help a lot but it's just so sad to see him this way. Long nights too, I just hold him in an upright position so he can breathe better through the night.
Steam showers for this little man
And this little contraption is amazing!!! Very gross but wow! The picture shows it, I don't need to go into detail!
Friday afternoon bath time and a muscle pic!
Sweet little loo, and that teeny curl on the side is soooo cute:)
While Roman napped, me and this little lady baked banana bread and peanut butter cookies! Yummy!
I used a recipie I found on Pinterest, next time maybe add some sugar? Or cinnamon? It was good but could have been a little sweeter!
I had to snap a pic of these lashes while he was sleeping...oh. My. So jealous.
She loved it!
Now for our peanut butter cookies.
I used a super easy and yummy recipie I got off of my sister-in-law's blog
•1cup creamy pb
•1cup sugar
•1egg
Mix it all together and bake at 350* for 8-12 minutes.
We used a heart cookie cutter and put sprinkles on before and after baking.
With the little bit of dough that was left we just made some little circle shaped cookies!
Once the kids went to bed I set out their little valentine chair envelopes. Now that I can sew much better and need to make one for Roman I'm thinking about seeing some new ones for next year.
I got them both a new book, Sleeping Beauty and Planes, and they each got a mini pack of colored mini marshmallows.
My love and I cooked breakfast to ghee for us and the kids. It was by best attempt at heart shaped pancakes, and he made eggs and bacon.
And daddy got his little valentine a special little present! Awe, so sweet!
Singing her baby bro a sweet little song.
Now we have decided to watch love stories and lay on the couch and rest. Maybe we will be productive later but I'm not holding my breath. We watched Cinderella now it's Tangled. Loving this lovey day! Xoxo
