A busy Monday

We have quite the day today! Started off with my girl Kelly coming over to do my hair. Yay! I'm blonde!!! Love when she comes over! Kelly helped me get the kiddos ready for 6 month and 2 year pics! Off to Faller! The kids did pretty good despite the fact that sissy is teething! Don't know how I would have accomplished that task alone?!? Thanks Kelly!!!! She is the best and my kids adore her. We have a few things to get for Maddox's birthday party so off we go to get them!

Black Friday!!!

On Black Friday 2012, I went out shopping...with both of the babies! I just have to say they were both so so good! I met Becka, my mom, Chrystal, and my aunt Benay! We had lots of fun! Started at the mall and found a few good deals! We had lunch together at Chilis and then headed to Old Navy! I love our Black Friday shopping tradition, we always have so much fun together! Until next year!

Thanksgiving for four

Well this was the first Thanksgiving with our family of four!!!! We headed back home to spend the day with our families...oh, wait we are going to run out of gas and we are barely out of Bethalto. Typical. Ha. Spent the afternoon with Arjayes family.Maddox was shy when we got there. He was being clingy to me and that usually doesn't happen if Arjaye is a choice so, I of course enjoyed that while it lasted;) No other little kids to play with but when it came time to clean up he was right there being his "little helper" self. He carried the salt and pepper shakers to the kitchen. Then the plates.forks.napkins.two bags of rolls. Hahaha. He is so funny! By the end he warmed up to everyone and again was the center of attention. And for the princess, she was just that, a princess. Baby Eliana, she is so good everywhere we go! So pretty and sweet, she just goes with it. Off to my family....Maddox played with Aspen and Andrew....love spending time with this crazy family of mine. Everyone adored Eliana. So thankful for my husband and my babies. They are so precious to me. Thankful for my family, my friends, our health, faith, and happiness.

Phone call

Daddy worked last night so the kids and I headed to Edwardsville to meet my mom for a quick shopping trip and pizza at Pantera's. we had lots of fun and got a cute pair of jeans for mj and princess!
Once we got home Maddox and I were at the table playing with his phone. He picked up the receiver looked at me and said "hello, hi, baaabaa, bye" and hung it up. He cracks me up all the time! It's amazing to see all the things he has been learning. He is so smart! We played phone call for about ten minutes! Haha! Just love my nights with my little ones!!!

Almost traditional Tuesday

Tuesday traditions are happening over here on Hiatt Lane😉 I got home from work greeted by my silly Maddox 💙 love.that.kid. I fed Eliana and off to eat at the often visited Chinese Buffett in Alton🍤🍦#atetomuchasusual my husband had his traditional vanilla ice cream with sprinkles like a three year old...haha and of course he needs to point out I used the soup bowl for my ice cream while he used the smaller dessert bowl....yeah...I know.... ha. We got our four fortune cookies and divvied them up, while Maddox is the only one who actually eats the "cookie" Off to target to shop around for Maddox's birthday present...we will be visiting toys r us in hopes of finding something super fun😵 we did get some cute clothes at target for the kiddos on clearance😉 Elmo shirt for $4!!!! Yay perfect for the birthday party! We put up Eliana's new three month and little diva pics up in her room! sooo cute, seems like her room is almost done! I swear she is the cutest baby girl ever, I just can't get enough of her! Her squishy little cheeks, precious little feet, pretty eyes, and tiny little nose......#headoverheels Watched new fav show revolution and now history channel show dvr'd by none other than the "always learning more" husband;) time for bed...absolutely nothing sweeter than watching my baby girls eyes gently close as I rock her to sleep. Ahhhh best moments in life. Maddox was so sweet and lovey tonight, laying with me on the couch, playing with my hands, giving a couple kisses...he is the sweetest little boy.sweetest. Of course in the end he chose Arjaye in the chair. I got my moment.

Good day!

Productive Monday!!! Well the Hiatt fam slept in today and once we got up and around we made a trip to fairview. We went to party city to get inspired for Maddox's 2nd birthday party. It was really hard to decide since there is no one thing he is really in to. We went from dinosaur to camo to just birthday and finally decided on Elmo! Maddox saw the section and said "Elmo" so there you have it, Elmo it is!!! We got most of the things we need now to decide on food?!? I ordered the invitations and hope to get them out tomorrow! His birthday has really snuck up on me, I feel a little behind.
A yummy little drive thru lunch at good ol chick fil a!!!! Home, eating, and a nap for princess. While she napped we picked up the house put all the clothes away cleaned up the bath tub toys and hubby made yummy green tea! He just took the pups for a walk then a quick Walmart trip and a relaxing evening with the family and football! Ahhh life is good😍

Productivity

Today was a good day off from work! The girls got their hair cut today at a new grooming salon! They look great! And they had a good experience this time😉🐶🐾
Love spending time with my family, Arjaye didn't have to work til 4 today so we had some quality time together! Maddox played with his new toys from Kristen, he had a ball!
I got the kids' closets cleaned out and organized today. What a job that was! So sad to box up Eliana's newborn and 0-3 month clothes....she is growing so very fast. I wish time would slooooow down😢⌚
Made a quick Walmart trip to get some food up in this house! Made yummy taco cupcakes for dinner and for my lunch tomorrow! Yumm-o Got a couple snacks for Kelly too since she is coming all day to watch the kids for us! I'm so blessed to have the fabulous friends that help me out so much! My kids adore Kelly and Aly!!!!!
Maddox got his first book from our book letter club!📫✉📚📖
Finally used my moby wrap with sissy! Whaaaat have I been waiting for?!? It is the best! As I had sissy in the moby me and my little helper vacuumed the house!
Gave them a bath and now it will be milk time and bedtime for them both! 🛁Here's to a lovely Thursday!

America

I voted today!!! Hoping and praying for the right turnout that our country needs! So thankful to be an American and to have the right to vote for leaders of our country! Arjaye took the kids with him to vote today! Maddox's second time at the polling place and Eliana's first! I believe this may be the most important election for our generation! Here's to hoping!❤🇺🇸

First night away😢

Last night was our first night away from Eliana! Arjaye's parents kept her and Maddox for the night. It was an emotional drop off to say the least. Arjaye just keeps telling me not to be sad and just think of how happy it makes their grandparents to have them overnight! He is so right but it's not so easy. The kiddos had lots of fun and we had a super productive weekend! Had a late lunch together at latawata creek...yum! And then cleaned out the garage....what a job that was! We took two car loads to the good will and man our garage looks niiiiccce!!!! Then just a quiet evening with just the two of us! Perfect margaritas and a little rock band to close out the night. Loved seeing the two little ones after 24 hours without them!!!😍😍😍

Baby Eliana

Ok I'm taking it back a lil bit to write about one of the three most fabulous days of my life, the day my baby girl was born💓 I had a really great pregnancy with my little girl, no complaints here! The feeling of my baby growing inside of my belly is indescribable* to feel those little kicks and rolling around is just so precious that only a mother can understand! Maddox loved to touch my belly and lay his head on my belly, I always said Maddox there is a baby in mommys belly. How much do you love your bby sister? He then throws his hands up in the air..."so much" so sweet💗 we never really thought he "got it" but when he met Eliana for the first time it made me think he really did get it!!! Eliana was born on a Wednesday and we finally decided on her name the Friday before! It took a long nine months to come up with the perfect name, we decide on Jade as her middle name on the way to the hospital! We went in on a Tuesday night to be induced. I got all hooked up and ready to go, gma and gpa Hiatt came to hang out and pass the tim. Elijah and Becka came too! Animated uncle Eli really helped the time go by! Gma and gpa George stayed at home with Maddox! We got a few hours of sleep that night before things got real at 6 am and labor began! Powered through for a little bit then came the epidural! "ahhhhhhh yes that is much better" A very short labor and four pushes later my little angel Eliana was born at 12:15 in the afternoon! She was the most beautiful precious baby girl I have ever laid eyes on, I was instantly head over heels in love with my little girl! I've dreamed of the day that God would bless me with a little girl and this day he answered my prayers! Ahhhhh so.in.love. Arjaye was on cloud nine! He could hardly contain his excitement! Watching my husband with our babies is just another reason why I love this man so much, it takes our love to a whole different level! We got a few minutes with just the three of us together! Then came the family...passed her around like a little hot potatoe, tears in everyone's eyes! Daddy went with eliana to get her first bath and all the newborn things that they do while I rested for a little while. Arjaye left to go get the big brother, chad was watching him for us and keeping him occupied!
Then came quite possibly the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Maddox came running in the room, crawled up onto my bed and kissed Eliana, like he had been waiting the whole time for this moment! What a sweet memory I have to carry with me forever!!!! Eliana is a wonderful baby girl and finally on Friday we got to bring her home and start our lives as a family of four💙💜💗💙

Love my husband more today than yesterday and not as much as tomorrow! Four fabulous years we have been married! My best friend, my soulmate❤

Halloween

Wednesday was such a fun day! Work day was short just a lil 12 to fiver😉 easy peasy👍 as soon as I got home it was time to start getting the little ones ready! Started off by putting Maddox's camo makeup on for his soldier costume! He then helped daddy hand out some candy to the little ones who stopped by while I got sis ready for her first halloween🎃 tonight she was a kitty cat! It was a lil more comfy than her strawberry costume! We stopped by the neighbors so they could see the kids! Off to walnut ridge to trick or treat at the Shive's house! Maddox got a cool spider man back pack a lil candy and some chips that were gone before we got back in the car! Sissy got an adorable princess backpack with a dress that Tim picked out just for her💜 we stuck around their sub division and hit up a few houses! Maddox did so good, went right up to the door with daddy and waited for candy and then of course shut the door! Haha! We ordered Roma's for dinner and finished off the night watching Halloween like we do every year and I was scared like always! Def slept with the light on that night! Haha a very fun successful Halloween!!! Trick or Treat🎃🎃🎃

Halloween eve

Tuesday I got home from work and it was time to get ready for the first trick or treat night! Sissy was taking a quick nap so I started on Maddox's camo makeup! All it took was a pack of smarties to keep him occupied! Chad, dana, and Abe stopped by with a new notebook and crayons for Maddox! We snapped a couple pics and they headed out. We loaded up and headed to Holiday Shores. We made our first and only stop for the night at Kelly and Dan's house and mama Rita was there too! Kelly had super cute gifts for the kids! Maddox got new sippy cups and a box of banana cookies that he lived! Sis got a cute top and jeggings yes they make jeggings for babies😍 a cute play phone too! Rita held sissy while Dan and Kelly showed us their new "man cave" it looks awesome!!! Maddox got to meet Bennett and get him prepped for life with a kiddo around! It was really funny! He gave Bennett treats and just laughed and stomped around the house! Of course we had to snap a pic of the camo men together!!! We had lots of fun!
