Christmas Eve Eve

We went back to the Vern for Christmas Eve eve. We started off celebrating the real reason for the season at Central Christian Church! I cannot even describe how happy it makes me to attend church at ccc. After church, Arjayes grandma Brenda took us all out to lunch. Then we spent a few hours together at his parents house. Maddox loved Toby and Lucy!
Once we got back home to our house it was time to open presents!!!!! Eliana's first Christmas! Stockings came first and the kids loved what was in theirs! Maddox really got into unwrapping presents. Sissy sat in her bumbo seat and enjoyed all the craziness going on! We played with all of the new toys the rest of the evening! So blessed to get to spend time with this little family of mine!

Birthday!

We had a super fun day on Maddox's birthday! We slept in, then I made Maddox eggs with two blue candles in them! Breakfast in bed at two!
Off to the magic house we go, so excited! We had a blast! Maddox had so much fun at each station! Sissy had fun too, there was a little baby area just for her! Maddox played on the slides, in schnucks, fished,played in the vets office, looked in all the mirror's, played in the water area, the bubbles, the car, the Oval Office, just to name a few of the things he got to do! We will definitely be going back! After we left we went to cici's pizza for lunch, love that place😉🍕 We came home took a nap then sang happy birthday to Maddox and watched him blow out his candle and we all had a yummy cupcake!
I can't believe my little baby boy is two years old already! So cliche but time just goes by way to fast! I've tried really hard to soak up each moment and each stage he goes through and not take a moment for granted!!! Maddox is such a sweet smart fun little boy. He makes my life better with every memory he gives me! I am so so so grateful to have this happy healthy little boy as my little boy! Beyond blessed and I thank God for everything he had given me' happy birthday Maddox! I love you more than you could ever imagine💙💋

Getting closer

Tried to get stuff done today! We cleaned the house in an attempt to get all the yucky sicky germs out of here! I took Maddox to the doctor to make sure he is on even though his temp is gone. He is ok! Ears, mouth, and chest is lookin good!!! Now we are just trying to keep the rest of us in good health!
The girls had a vet appt too! We are not the best pet parents😪 We must do better! Brushing hair and teeth for them is going to be daily!! It's a must! We love our girls just need to be more attentive to them!
We got our Christmas cards and they look awful! The pic quality is terrible so I'll be running up to walgreens later hopefully to get them fixed! Haha! Oh well just another hoop to jump through!
We just made yummy Christmas candy. Maddox helped me while sissy and daddy watched! Making shrimp veggie rice stir fry! Yummy! One of our family favorites!
Lots to do this week to get ready for Christmas! A lil more shopping and wrapping, maybe some cookie baking?!?
I'm just excited and so thankful to get to spend time with my family during this most fabulous time of the year!

Busy Monday

The day after a big event....bummer! Ha well it has been a good day just sad all the party excitement is over. Daddy had to work today so we tried really hard to get the house cleaned up before he got home! We cleaned up most of the decorations, cleaned all the dishes, picked up all the toys, and vacuumed.
Off to view sissy's six month pics and Maddox's two years ....sooo cute as usual! Always so hard to pick out the pictures cause they are all so good! After our viewing session we went to 54th street. Ok we have not been here since we had sissy, just a lil difficult with the two and the fact you always have to wait for an hour....well just go at 330 in the afternoon...Boom! Easy easy! And yummy! Oh gringo dip I have missed you so much! Haha!!!
Tonight we are going to put up our Christmas tree!!! Sooo excited! I'm sure Maddox will be a big help this year....

Birthday party!!!

Sunday we celebrated Maddox's second birthday! We had so much fun! The party started at one but we started getting ready for it Friday! Shopping, cooking, baking, cleaning, and decorating! So much prep and then it's all over! Just like any other special day you wish would go on forever.....it's over in the blink of an eye! Soak up every single moment!
Back to the festivities, we had so many great family members and friends that spent their day celebrating with us and for that I am so thankful!
We had Italian beef, turkey and ham sandwiches, chips and a few different dips, potato salad, and a veggie tray! Dessert....cookie monster cupcakes, #2 and the letter M sugar cookies, and Oreo balls! Yummy!!! Everything turned out really cute and super yummy!!!
We sang happy birthday to Maddox and he blew out his candle with a lil help from me;) Then it was time for presents! Woooo hoooo!!!! So fun! He got so many toys! Paint, an easel, guitar, bath toy, puzzles, race track, books, jeans, shirts, chuck truck, pajamas, super hero bubble bath, and underwear!!! Haha! He is such a lucky little boy!
I would say the party was a definite success! He had so much fun playing with his cousins and his friends! He fell asleep on the couch about 730 but that only lasted about a half hour and it was play time again til like eleven!
I am so thankful for my family and friends and for them being able to celebrate with us. It means so much to me that everyone was able to make it out for the afternoon! I had so much fun planning the birthday party and getting ready for it! I am so thankful that my husband and I are in a position to give Maddox such a fun birthday celebration! Maddox is the joy of my life...I love this little boy more than I can express in words....he is such a little angel and we are so blessed to have him as our son! And for princess, she was an angel! Laughed and had such a good time! She took a nap while being passed around to all the girls! Eliana had her first taste of water from her new pink and purple sippy cup! She really liked it☺ she enjoyed going outside with her Grandpa to enjoy the 70 degree weather we were having, in December......crazy!!!!
